Co-op South American Style

In January we studied the continent of South America. These photos only give it half justice of the fun we had that day! The relief maps made with salt flour dough and then painted mixed with the less than good tasting Tetere left room for much more delightful flavors at the lunch! We made Mbeyu, which is made from cornstarch and cheese and milk. It is eaten during the fesitval of San Juan in Paraguay. The flan was a big hit with the parents, not so much the kids, I think it is a texture thing! Liz, went all out dressing up like a king from Ecuador.
