How can this be?

I am surprising even myself at the lack of responsibility I have with this blog. NO WAY HAS IT BEEN SINCE JULY, SINCE I HAVE POSTED!!!!!

Reality has set in.

I will be doing some quick catch ups over the next few days and get caught up before October hits. Really no one cares except my dear parents-in law who read this and keep up on their girls. And then there is the one and only Grandmother Diczok who must have wondered a few times if we had fallen off the earth. At times when she can't stand it, she blows up our phones to get caught up, but here I go. Please forgive me. Onward.

July 4th

Fun at the McDonald's house!

We made all kind of goodies. Including chocolate chip overed oreos, all american cupcakes and Jeanne and Olivia were getting caught up on technology! Good friends!

Summer fun!

 Serious jewelry making!
 Stormie and boxes!
We have this field near us where the perenial peanut flowers grow. We call it the "Cheese" field because it looks like the powder from mac and cheese. We just love it!
Stephanie's photography of some fresh veggies we got from a local farm. Boy were they good!
We've tried our hand at making smoothies this summer, thinking about those early mornings that will be coming soon when school starts!
Hillbilly Conrad stopped by for dinner as he was headed north to Tallahassee.
Elijah had a pool party for turning 12, they are all growing up so fast!

A MADHouse Sleepover

MADHouse is our Middle School Youth Group at our church. The girls wanted to have a sleepover during the summer, and so we did! It was a super fun time. These girls were so much fun! They had me in stitches so many times. Laughing and squealing until the wee hours!
They indulged me for photos more than once! Elisa, though, she was the photographer! Stephanie was too busy having fun to get her camera going!

 A little Twister anyone?
Personal pizzas! What a mess, but oh so good!

 Movie time!
 Midnight s'mores!

 Whip that hair!
 There were bodies everywhere!
Pancakes for breakfast and a feast of goodies for lunch and then we had to say goodbye! I hope it is not too long before we have everyone over again, because we do like a good time!

The Kid's took over!

The Kids took over in church yesterday. Steve led worship with all of their help. All ages participated. Olivia played keyboard and she was so awesome. Steph led a remake of Queen's "We will rock you" instead singing "We love Jesus"! Everyone joined in! We were reminded by Pastor Ron how make God happy we must respect authority! Good words. For all of us!

Celebration Cruise

My two sisters and Stepmom went on a 2 day cruise to the Bahamas. It was a quick little trip over to Freeport for the day. We were celebrating Sherri's 50th birthday. We made some great memories and learned alot about each other.

This was our cabin. It had a great view and was a better one than the others got. Our bathroom did not stink and worked!

One night we went to a restaurant and the waiters walked around with fresh meat to serve us!
This is what we met up with the next morning. The Royal Carribean had caught fire while out at sea and it covered 4 floors. It was shocking to all of us on the neighboring ship. We met people later that day who had been on it and they had nothing but great things to say about how the emergency was handled.

The water was choppy, but beautiful!

 Bahama Mama and Pina Coladas!
Oh the memories!

Randomness

Stormie's first time really watching TV. It was hilarious!
Stephanie is the cookie maker around here. They are fabulous!
We are an electronic family. Especially when Steve is working at home!
Closet cleaning day....we have a few games!
Crazy girls! They just couldn't resist the urge to pose!
One of their favorite activities. Libraries are full of adventures!
Bucket list thing to do...camp in a tent. They were so excited!
This girl can whip up some banana bread. It is so so good!
Party favor- ice cream in a jar. Thanks Taylor!
This was the centerpiece for the table for a girl get together!
